Terms of Service

Here you will find TrashMeeko's Terms of Service.

While commissioning Meeko you agree that you have read and will abide by these Terms of Service before, during, and after the commissioning process. Failing to follow the Terms of Service will result in the commission being terminated and no refund will be issued unless the commissioning process has not started. Any question about these Terms of Service are to be discussed and clarified before acceptance of the commission or agreeing to the Terms of Service located below.

By commissioning Meeko, you agree that if you are found guilty of breaching these Terms of Service Meeko will be obligated to take legal action.

All prices listed are in USD, therefore Meeko will only accept payments in USD.
Meeko will not do: Nudes, Porn, Hentai or Strong Gore/Horror themes.
Meeko will only start the commission after to initial 25% deposit is paid
Meeko has all rights to the commission work, therefore you may not sell, and make profit from her pieces. However you may purchase copyright & commercial use for extra fees.
When the process is starting Meeko will require details and references of your model, or what you would like done.
Give Meeko 24-48 hours to respond incase of time zone differences.
You will receive as many revisions as you’d like free of charge

Connection

All exchanges between Meeko & the Client may be performed through Discord or Twitter.

Client provides clear and complete requirements and expectations upfront to Meeko, including reference materials or assets before Work begins.

Client grants to the Meeko non-exclusive rights to observe and replicate Client’s own character design and reference material for the use of the Work.

Client warrants that the character design and reference material provided to the Meeko are legally obtained and authorized for use by the Client.

Client warrants that they have the authority to enter this agreement, be the point of contact and is solely responsible for decisions and approval during the process.

Meeko strives to perform to the best of their ability in good faith and warrants Work is 100% original according to Meeko’s best knowledge.

Meeko may use commercially licensed, copyright-free and/or educational materials, assets and/or tools.

Meeko warrants that they will not copy or heavily reference unauthorized materials.

Meeko reserves the right to refuse projects or requests based on content, subject, or other reasons.

Meeko defines scope of work, features, price, deliverables and other details for the project in a proposal in a format according to Meeko discretion which may include private message through Discord or Twitter, VGen platform, Google document, or email. The details set forth by the Meeko shall be agreed upon by the Client before work begins.

Timelines & Process

Work completion requires 3 weeks minimum, and may take up to 4 months at most depending on each project.

Timeline depends on commission type, complexity, and workload.

Artist provides progress updates and seeks Client feedback voluntarily.

Final deliverables are provided by Meeko using the VGen platform, Google Drive or similar file transfer tools.

If there are any delays and adjustments to timeline, Meeko will inform the Client.

Payment Methods

Meeko currently only does payments through Ko-fi (Paypal or Stripe). Only pay Meeko after you have confirmed the order with her, and before the commission is started.

Payment will be completed in instalments, 25% deposit, 25% after sketch, 25% after flat colour, and 25% before receiving final product.

Rights/
Commercial Use

Meeko is given all right to post completed commissions, and use them as examples in current/future portfolios.
(If you wish to have rights to have it withheld, or discuss an NDA until debut extra charges may apply)

An "Extended Commercial Use Agreement" application will require a discussion with Meeko, which will result in an extra deposit of 100% of the price discussed once accepted.

Refund Policy

If for any reason, the Client or Meeko has to cancel the commission, Refund will not be issued for current amount paid, however the Client will receive the work that was completed, and may send it off to a third-party artist to complete, with credit given to Meeko for the stages complete.

Deadlines

If the Client and Meeko come to a conclusive deadline for a project and Meeko fails to provide completed piece, 50% of payment will be refund and Meeko will provide completed files.

If Meeko has a personal issue that interferes with a deadline, a new deadline my be discussed or the Client may be issued a full refund (circumstances may vary).

Acceptance

Client is 18+ and legally able to commit to an agreement or has a legal guardian to make this agreement on their behalf.

Agreement date is upon first inquiry/communication or first transaction.
